Policy and Procedures
Date: June 17, 1999
1. Purpose
Employees may authorize Virginia Tech to electronically deposit their paychecks
directly to a bank account. Authorization forms and further details are
available from the Office of Treasury Management and the university Payroll
Office.
2. Policy
Pay will be electronically deposited to the employee's bank account on
the date of pay. It is the employee's responsibility to complete the direct
deposit form as soon as possible after employment begins.

Section 2.0 deleted information on when payday falls on a weekend
